The issue of weight

Some of my friends and people I know have asked me about weight management and health in general. So, I will let you know what I have been up to. Dieting is not always the answer. I love food and will always love food. So, what do I do?

The journey started with:

Adding more fruits and vegetables to my diet and changing my portions around.
Adding an exercise to my week.
Then once I got the hang of this, I started monitoring my habit of eating. This is a big eye opener. Do you eat enough during the day? Or do you starve yourself and then go nuts later? Are you an emotional eater? Can you go to the gym, meditate or find a positive habit that will help fuel your soul?
I am currently monitoring my calorie intake as well. You can check out programs like calorie count or spark people. LOVE THESE… Calorie Count specifically because it lets me know what nutrients I am or not putting into my body…
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: I WAS PATIENT WITH MYSELF. I fell on my face and started again the next second. We always have the chance.

I believe the key to a healthy, strong body is a lifestyle choice and we have to work for it like we work for our jobs and our relationships. Our bodies are our temples! Love and cherish it!
